Castelcucco
01
Its main strength lies in its peaceful and strategic location, perfect for exploring the surrounding area while also enjoying the hills filled with forests, vineyards, and meadows. It's an ideal spot for those who love trekking, cycling, and relaxing walks.
And... after visiting a historic center, a museum, a leisurely stroll, or a more challenging hike, treat yourself to a moment of relaxation at Màna Olistica, next to the Maison. You can choose between a relaxing Swedish massage or a deep-tissue massage to relieve muscle tension.

02
Asolo
About a 10-minute drive away and part of the "Most Beautiful Villages in Italy," Asolo exudes a unique, spontaneous charm. Landscapes, history, art, excellent food, wineries, and outdoor activities await. Strolling through the historic center, visiting the Rocca, and exploring Villa Freya with its stunning garden are just a few of the many attractions this village offers. You can walk the "Ezzelini Trail" or stop by one of the DOCG Prosecco wineries to indulge in some local flavors.
Monte Grappa
03
Monte Grappa is a destination rich in history, nature, and outdoor activities. This place of great reverence is home to the Military Memorial of the Great War, where you can explore the Trench Trails, the Heroes' High Route, as well as mountain huts and refuges, offering a variety of sports for all skill levels. MTB, snowshoeing, paragliding, hiking, and ski mountaineering are just some of the options available. Here, you can also enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, with panoramic views stretching from the Venetian Lagoon to the east, the Belluno Alps and Marmolada to the north. To the west, you'll first see the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, followed by Mount Pasubio and the Asiago Plateau, almost completing a circular panorama. In the center, the view sweeps over the Veneto plain and the Euganean Hills, extending further south. Despite its 1,775-meter elevation, Monte Grappa gives the sensation of being at the "roof of Italy."

Bassano del Grappa
04
Walking through its historic center means immersing yourself in art, history, and an elegant atmosphere filled with life and lively venues.
A must-do is a stroll on the Ponte Vecchio, also known as "Alpini Bridge," with a stop at the Nardini distillery where trying their "Mezzoemezzo" is almost a rite of passage. The Ezzelini Castle, a testament to the town’s medieval history, sits at the highest point, and it's recommended to pass through the three central squares.
It goes without saying that the highlight of the local nightlife is the aperitivo time, synonymous with socializing, joy, and relaxation. Some of these places have truly captured our hearts.
Just below the Ponte Vecchio, you'll find "Mariga," where Giancarlo and Rosy run a welcoming wine bar with many exciting selections available by the glass.
Heading to Piazzotto Montevecchio, on the right, you'll find Officina and Officina Canaglia—two venues with the same spirit but different personalities and offerings (their cicchetti are absolutely delicious).
For dinner, in the town center, both Origin Bassano and the historic Ottone (fifth generation since 1865) offer fantastic options, while if you're looking to enjoy a stunning view and a romantic atmosphere, the Ristorante L'Ostrica Ubriaca, just 8 minutes from the center, serves a seafood menu. (In the summer, ask for a table on the terrace—it’s simply breathtaking).
After dinner, for a laid-back and charming vibe with top-tier cocktails, head to the Palazzo delle Misture and Roots EST. 1680, both located in the center.

Conegliano-Valdobbiadene

Famous for the Prosecco Road, this UNESCO World Heritage area is perfect for tastings and winery visits. In addition to the region's well-known estates, here are a few small gems that impressed me with their quality, eco-sustainability, friendliness, and hospitality:
-
Cantina Col del Lupo
-
Soc. Agr. Siro Merotto
-
Soc. Agr. Marchiori
A Small Itinerary Through VILLAGES AND VINEYARDS
Starting from Maison de Michelle and deciding who will drive and who will drink... Once in Farra di Soligo, you can choose (with prior reservation) whether to visit the Marchiori winery or the Siro Merotto winery. If time permits, a tour of the vineyards and learning their interpretation of Prosecco is highly recommended. Afterward, follow the signs to Refrontolo, and soon you will arrive at the Molinetto della Croda, a charming and ancient watermill built into the rock, where you can take a brief pause.
Then, continue to two small historic villages: Cison di Valmarino and, later, Follina, both listed among the most beautiful villages in Italy.
On your way back, pass through the Col Vetoraz area, one of the most scenic views of the Prosecco hills, and stop at "L'Osteria Senz'Oste," where you can walk among the vineyards and enjoy food, leaving a donation for what you consume.
From there, it's just 20 minutes back to the Maison.
P.S.
Alternatively, instead of the two wineries in the morning, you can stop by the nearby Vidor and, with prior reservation, visit Cantina Col del Lupo.
